Accessory Decoder
Decoder controlling accessory articles. Strictly speaking the U8 of Multi-Steuerung.de is not a pure accessory decoder — it can also control DC locomotives and allow for (analogue) train operation.
Configuration
File containing a sequence. It can be transferred onto the decoder, in order to give it a certain functionality. The amount is limited only by number and type of inputs and outputs of the decoder.
Effect
Combination of switching steps, that can not be split any deeper without destroying the flow, e.g. controlling a single light signal. It represents a single action of an accessory article on the model layout.
Sequence
A control that consists of one or several scenarios, can be saved in an configuration file
Scenario
One effect or several effects substantially belonging together, e.g. lighting of several houses
